About rekurro
rekurro manages recurring tasks — standing obligations with a history of completions and a computed next due date. A task is never "finished" (except one-time tasks): you tell rekurro how often it recurs, and it tells you what is due today.
Three kinds of task cover the common cases:
- One-time — due on one fixed date ("Submit tax return").
- Interval — due N days after you last did it ("Water the plants every 4 days"). The clock restarts from the actual completion.
- Calendar — due on fixed calendar slots ("Recycling every Monday"), independent of when you last did it.
Exemption periods ("I'm away") shift what would fall inside them to the first day after — for the tasks you allow to wait.
